Who can apply

Illinois high school student (9th–12th grade) or enrolled college student
Strong academic record — A or B in any subject you wish to teach
Reliable internet connection and a device that supports video calling
Minimum 1 hour of availability per week for at least one semester

What happens after you apply

Application review

Our coordinators review your subjects, grade history, and availability within 5 business days.

Short interview

A 20-minute video call to discuss your experience, goals, and confirm the subjects you'll teach.

Online training

A 2-hour asynchronous training on online tutoring techniques, child safety, and IPTA policies. Taken at your own pace.

04

First match

You are matched with a student and receive their contact details. You set the session time together.
